I will never, ever, ever....

I realize I am about to risk coming off as an old frump, but a girl's got to have her standards.

I absolutely refuse to continue reading any blog that contains the word "prolly."

If you can even call that a word, because it's not.

I can handle "cuz." I am only mildly frustrated when people don't use periods. I can even overlook an overzealous "LOL" user if the post is interesting enough (though I have to wonder if people are really LOL as much as they say they are.)

But, "prolly" is where I draw the line.

I stop reading. End of story - or post, as the case may be.

I just thought I'd make that public, in case anyone was wondering if I'd read their blog.

I'm thinking of a very funny come back, but I haven't had my coffee yet. When I wake up a little more I'll prolly be back to tell it to you. :)

What is prolly? Is that short for Probably?

LOL is kind of annoying because you know they are probably not Laughing Out Loud but at least I know what it means. I hate it when I have to sit there for 5 minutes to try and figure out what their little abbreviation means.

LYBWRARS!

So, Addie, if I hear you correctly, you are saying, "I Like You Better Without Ranting About Ridiculous Stuff."

Or was that "Love Your Blog: What's Rattling Around is Really Stimulating"?

... Or did you just type your word verification in the wrong spot?

See!! I'm not the only one with a problem on word verification!

I might be the only NFL (National Football League) watcher responding to this blog, but I have a non-word that really gets me:
Untracked.
"Bob, they really need to get the running game UNTRACKED."
Sometime long ago, a semi-skilled former player mistakenly used untracked instead of ON TRACK. The next thing you know a non-word is all over the place. It's on TV, it's on radio, it's even written in print by people with degrees in journalism!!

Someone call Daniel Webster, Call the OED (Oxford English Dictionary), Call the BEF (British Expeditionary Force), Call the RUS (Rodents of Unusual Size)!

It originally meant:
Love Your Blog. Will Read Again Real Soon.

But I love that you actually came up with 2 more options.
